It pained me when we renovated our kitchen last year, to spend more on a fridge than I have spent on whole running cars or boats.
Actually, our appliances together cost more than my current car did. Ugh I’m glad we’re done with that project.

Why is the fridge fancy?
When I redid my kitchen 7 years ago I had a hell of a time finding a non-fancy fridge. It’s pretty damn difficult to find a top and bottom with no ice maker in a relatively decent size.

Finally replaced my fridge this year. after 3 years of it being on its last leg I losing around $20 in veggies and other items due to the cooling section suddenly turning into an additional freezer, I decided to get a new one. The old was a top-freezer, the new is a side-by-side. Much better for the three small kids as the Eggos and such can go on the bottom shelf of the freezer and I can get an extra 15 minutes in bed on Saturdays.
