This looks really fucking good. I wouldn’t mind one of these on my driveway, to be honest.
I must’ve missed the memo that we’re all supposed to hate crossovers. Carry on.

I have a hard time with calling any crossover good looking. No, not because they are “crossovers” because they taste good because they ALL have WAAAAY too much front overhang to pull off the look they are going for.

I’m more OG than that. Original Ridge Racer with no rear view mirror, bruh

You monster! How can you pull off those suck drifts without keeping an eye on that Danver behind you?

I’ve actually found the new RAV4 to be pretty well-proportioned in that regard.
Then again, most FWD cars have more rear overhang than front.

I don’t hate crossovers but I think it looks kinda funky (in a bad way)

Is the Toyota CHR a crossover? Either way, that one I like. This one? Nope....

Rage Racer had a rear view mirror, but in the Age Victoire / Vainqure I seldom needed it.

it’s not terrible, but IMO it’s too derivative of Honda’s previous design language and the “puffy cheeks” styling Honda and Toyota seem to love has got to go.

Preach it!
I know it’s in regards to crash safety and crumple zones, but front overhangs on ALL manner of vehicles are out of control lately. Give me a long ass over a long nose any day.

Adding rear overhang helps balance it out. The other trick is to sharply pull back the corners from the front to make it appear as though it has a shorter over than it does. The RX was the pioneer of this trick and this Mitsubishi is pushing the boundaries pretty hard.

If it is not as rattly and tinny as an ASX or narrow and tall as the Pajero Sport then yeah sure...but Mitsubishi have not convinced me yet that this is a meaningful part of their line-up.
Oh and a 1.5 L petrol engine mated up to a CVT as the only driveline is just a big no from us.

Too far of a departure from what a Mitsubishi Eclipse is supposed to look like. I can’t even take this thing seriously.

I think the GLA is the best looking of Mercedes’ current mainstream lineup. It doesn’t sag at either end like the rest of them do. Looks even better as a Brown AMG 45 without the tacked on aero.
It’s the rest of the car that’s a let down.
The Velar looks really good, As does the Evoque still.
The Mitsubishi looks terrible, like a Chinese car from a few years ago.
