And only took a couple of car related pictures. Drove the Durrnago 4 hours across the state to drink beer. It was very comfy, and decent on the highway and in all the wet weather we had. Only major complaint is that the rear wiper switch is VERY heavy to use, and the intermittent setting was TOO intermittent, even in a downpour at 55mph. The back window just didn’t get THAT WET.

Minor complaint: The retractable cargo cover’s tabs snag the 3rd row seatbelts when its being retracted or pulled out to cover goodies bought at various stops while on vacation. A way to attach the seatbelts to the rear walls to keep them out of the way when not in use like in our Mazda5 or CX-9 would have been appreciated.

In my wife’s Impreza, the middle seatbelt anchor can be unbuckled so the seatbelt retracts up to the pillar. We leave it retracted basically all the time because it’s in the way of flipping the seat down, and in the rear view mirror. Does the Durango have anything similar?

Its got just two seats in the third row, and both belts sit against the pillars, but hang out just enough that you either need three hands to move the belts out of the way while moving the shade/cover/tonneau or a way to stick them to the sides.... I’m thinking maybe some velcro would work.

I couldn’t stand the rear wiper speeds in my Pacifica. The options were not enough or just on, which was way too much. I wish they could add a setting to change the intermittent speed. They could easily just bury it in uConnect settings with all the other random settings you can change.

I wonder if any high zootin’ six figure SUVs have rain sensing REAR wipers. That’d be perfect.

I can tell you the Mercedes GLS does not have that. I now completely expect that feature on the upcoming Rolls-Royce SUV though. Anything less will be a complete disappointment. If I’m spending 350k on a vehicle I don’t want to think about wipers just like the plebe in his 20k Renegade.

I’ve never used one of those cargo covers and never really thought to.

Durango GT AWD is on my list of potential new vehicles next fall so if everything is good except rear window wiper and the cargo cover issues I’m good lol

Nice ;)

We almost don’t need it because the windows are tinted so damn dark, but being away from home with random bags kept in it overnight we wanted it covered. Plus it came with the car, might as well use it.

haha.

I just youtubed exhausts on the 5.7 durango.

Now I really want one lol

Problem is justifying 2 SUVs in the driveway as opposed to the parity of the Milan and the Commander.
