Just a wash, clay mitt and wax on the new car. There are a few scratches and spiderwebs because it is 13 year old paint, but what a shine from this wax! Reflection pic after the jump.
Nice!

All I need now is some more trim restorer, tire shine and wheel cleaner, and it will look amazing!

Thanks! I still have to do trim, chrome, tires, and wheels but it’s not bad.

Looks fantastic! Also what is a clay mitt?

It’s a mitt that does the same thing as a clay bar. Once you try the mitt, you’ll never go back.

They look interesting. If you drop it do you still have to just throw it away or can it still be used?

Just rinse off the mitt and keep going. They’re really handy.

Like arl said, just rinse it off and you’re good.

Looking at other G35s it appears the exterior plastics are mainly confined to the lower valences front, rear and sides (leading into the lower edge of the door frame). A great trim dressing that’s for both tyres and trim is Gtechniq T1 Tyres & Trim.
The T1 will also do for window rubbers and the B pillar trim.
For the wheels a good wheel cleaner, followed up with a fallout/brake dust remover, then a good rinse. You can use the wax on the wheels to keep the brake dust build up down and aid cleaning in the future.
