$141.5k is the asking price on autabuy.com. For a fake Superbird built from a Satellite convert. WTAF.

An attempt was made. A shitty and overpriced attempt, but an attempt.

I don’t understand people asking for or actually paying big money for fake cars. I just don’t get it.

I like to think that people who list toy cars for super CP prices are just trying to appease a significant other.
“I put up for sale everywhere, it’s not my fault no one will buy it. We should probably just keep it.”

CP obviously. Factory five will let me build a daytona coupe for 50k, and that’s a much more rare fake to have.

I’ve dealt with that before. The term that stuck around from it is “That’s the ‘I told my wife I’m trying to sell it’ price.”

It looks exactly how a Superbird convertible would look. If it actually came from the factory that way.

Considering how much original Superbirds are going for now, I can’t blame the guy for trying.

Depending on the quality of the work, maybe it’s worth 50k? I dunno.. I’ve seen a bunch of faux Superbird converts after finding that one.
