Our lemonade in the U.K. is different to that in the U.S. in that ours is carbonated and I believe the U.S. isn’t.

Today I got some Whites Lemonade with pear and elderflower and boy is it good. It’s not overly carbonated like many fizzy drinks. So it’s refreshing without being gassy.

Now onto the Barr, Red Kola.

My quandary is which of the Barr products is best, Irn Bru, Tizer or Red Kola.

I found it. The last remaining BlackBerry Torch. It’s like seeing a Citroen C6 in the wild.

I’m upset. I’m in the USA and now I want to try this deliciousness

I’m curious to try the other two flavours, cloudy lemonade and lemonade with raspberry.

Kinja'd!!!

I’m now on the Barr, Red Kola.

It’s really good.

My wife always says what British people call lemonade is really Sprite.

Granted they are similar.

I think the main difference between ours and yours is ours is carbonated.

It makes a great refreshing drink in itself but also a nicer alternative to soda water as a mixer.

I have actually found sparkling lemonade here in the US, as a store brand a a Kroger-owned grocery store. A can was left in a cart and I tried it, and have been hooked ever since.

Sparkling lemonade is a thing, but it’s traditionally not carbonated.

Ours has been carbonated since 1833.

The R.White’s started making theirs in 1845.

It’s great by itself or used as a mixer. It’s what we grew up with, more so than cola.

I’ll have to try that. I’m thinking gin...

It’s good. Two parts lemonade and one part gin. Ice and a slice of lemon, sorted.

As an alcohol loving American I’d love to mix this sparkling raspberry lemonade with some sparkling cranberry juice and copious amounts of Absolut vodka
