Spotted this just as I was leaving from getting some gas on my way home yesterday! Mid-90's JDM import Toyota HiAce double-cab truck! Very cool....also sounded hilariously diesel-y. :P
The noise was what made me look up to see it (was writing my mileage down as I keep track of it).
Pretty cool! :D

It still seems to be a weird HiAce. Euro spec HiAce was always a van but Dynas could be ordered as pickups.

What pip bip said. A regular rwd Japanese cabover does nothing to me but the 4x4 ones I see from time to time are cool.

I’ll correct myself. Up to 2nd gen they were also available as pickups here.

These little COE pickups are the only JDM vehicles that I get excited for.

I’m not HUGE into JDM stuff, especially not the trucks and SUVs really (I am more into the cars, especially Kei cars, surprise surprise :P), but I always smile when I see something different and unique here...these trucks were never sold here, do it put a smile on my face! :)

Yeah, they were never sold here either. They’re a rare sight that also never fails to make me smile.
