A mom of a nice young family wanted to get out of the same old minivan. She and her family came and looked at it twice, took it for a pre-purchase inspection this morning, and bought it this afternoon. It was fun-ish while it lasted.

Just since I’m thinking about one of these, how much did you sell it for? Mileage?

Mine sold for $7600, which is $600 more than what we paid for it, but we also put $5000 of work into it. It had 180,000 miles.

Do you have a link to the work you had down/cost breakdown? That seems painful.

Actually the suspension in those is hydraulic and mine worked fine. Some of the normal metal bits you find in every car like ball joints and control arms needed replacing, but the hydraulics were a-okay.
