My Audi dealer has crazy incentives going on right now. So I decided to lease an A4 wagon for 3 years. I orderded it matadorredin but I changed my mind and went to Scubablue.
Is it a mistake? I once had a similar red FWD Audi 80 before as my first car, so the idea of walking up to car wasnt too appealing to me.
What do you think, which color would you choose?

Dark blue is my favorite color on a car so I like the blue.

dakar yellow
I don’t think I have the courage to walk up to a yellow daily driver I suspect. Though I’m open to a wide range of colors. Gald I didn’t had to make the choice between all the colors of the last gen Bentley GT.
I would have to buy to or three to be satisfied with my choices.

It’s not black/silver/white, so either choice is a win in my book.

but i do find myself drawn to loud colours...
I appreciate that. I’m so sick of all the beigeness black, silver, darkest of blue on the road.
i buy used so colour is never something i get to choose...
I too, usually. Though I wouldn’t buy a car (in my price bracket) if I don’t like the color.
Never thought seeing my in a new car. But they offered so much money for my scrapvalue Diesel, that I effectivly drive a brand spanking new A4 for three years for a total of €500 with wear and tear and inspections covered. Now resist that!
Of course, had I packed every desirable feature in the car the leasing rate would have exbloated.

No manual. ;-)
Yes, by purpose.
But brown was definitly on my list and there will come a time when I will drive a brown car (probably a Volvo).

I prefer the blue. That red is more burgundy. Reminds me of the Buick Enclave. 80% of them in this area are burgundy (apparently a big hit with the old ladies).

neato.. 500 is usually roughly my budget... so fancy things like do i like the colour.. or car for that matter tend to fall by the wayside
but i have stumbled upon some gems accidentally... like my 83 panda was an absolute hoot to drive.. and my 86 diesel gallant was a tank of a car that drove like it was on rails..
also had a 92 voyager wich drank fuel like it went out of fashion... but came with captains chairs..... im seriously considering replacing all my seats and sofas with captains chairs... those things are the shit

As the daily driver of a blue German wagon, I approve.

It has to be metallic blue.
It looks quite a solid blue in the evening but during the day, especially sunny days, the blue comes alive.

It is metallic but a tad lighter as it seeems in the pictures, IIRC.
Saw the red and the blue standing beneath each other and was immidiately confirmed in my choice for change.

was still in perfect running order when i let it go about a month back (well.. it was rough looking.. but mechanically fine) other than milk runs it had been sitting in my driveway since january as i got a job 3 miles away and been cycling since
wanted to keep it but the monthly expenses for something that wasnt being used made me have to put a for sale sign on it (also the missus hated it)

That’s a beautiful wagon. I love that red but that blue is wonderful too. I think you made the right choice.
Wish we could get the Avant here in the states but what else is new?

If it wasn’t for my first car I probably staid with red. But it’s almost exactly the same shade and I want to walk up to some new color (although my BMW is blue, but a very different shade. Dunno if you had it in the US, it’s Orientblue Code 317), so that’s that.
But Scubablue is waymore different to my BMW than Matatorred is to my long gone Audi 80.
