I saw it purely by chance, as I perused old bookmarks.
An AW11, in two-tone white and silver. Manual. Supercharged. Decent condition.
The price was golden.
But I’m living on couches and in spare rooms until I move into a new place next month.
I need to buy a fridge and a washing machine and so many little things.
I waited, and waited.
Days passed.
I was trying to be responsible but it actually didn’t seem like that much of a financial risk.
I finally decided to go and look at the car.
It’s gone.
It’s so rare to find exactly what you’re looking for.
And yet all too common to let it slip through your fingers.

Always remember, if you’re dreaming of a particular car, someone else likely is too, and they might have cash on hand.

When everything is sorted, youll have the time and cash to actually look for one. Itll be much more rewarding and less painful to deal with once you can actually afford it.

Yeah, good advice.
The thing stinging me the most is I’m a plane ride away from most of the good used cars in the country.
It makes it hard if I see a good car - I have to hope it doesn’t sell before the weekend because I work full time.

Oh, and I followed missing out on this by missing out on a 740 Turbo wagon for $750. IT’S BEEN A ROUGH WEEK OPPO.
