“Holistically, though, there’s no comparison. The Accord is more comfortable, spacious, and luxurious than the Camry. It’s quieter, rides and handles better, and drives more elegantly. It offers superior technology with a more user-friendly interface. Simply put, Toyota built a better Camry, but Honda built a better car.”

Hey, im not saying id ever get the current accord. I think it got overly large and lumpy. Im on board with the s80, im a former volvo owner myself. If I could pick up an s80 with the Yamaha v8 in black I would be a very happy man in a very comfy DD.
In my case I asked “Why accord when you can used Acura.” Cheaper, prettier, smaller, more nimble, and still an Accord!
Im sure the new 2.0T is a good motor though!

Yeah but the Toyota will last longer, can take more abuse, and looks better.

I want to see Accord 2.0T vs Camry V6. Honda should’ve kept the base engine as the 2.4 non-turbo
And Ford makes a good Accord :p

That dash screen is a deal breaker. Full stop.
It could run on water and shit dollar bills, and I’d still pass.

Why used S80 when you can walk?

Did I just read that the Camry has 13:1 compression. Wonder if it’s using an Atkinson Cycle or something? That’s pretty, pretty high for 87. The Accord has 10.3:1 and a turbo and it runs on 87 as well. The fuel/spark control on modern cars is crazy.
Accords are good cause they are just good cars. Accord is rarely a terrible answer when looking for a new or used car, but it will probably get stolen.

That is a bit extreme. I wonder how its long term reliability will be? Too lazy to research whether that motor has been used before

I also wish it was a comparison with the higher spec cars. I really want to know if hondas switch to the turbo motor paid off.

Looks better for sure. Man is the new accord ugly compared to the outgoing model...

We know it’s faster than the outgoing V6.

That’s how it always is. The Toyota is safer, more practical, more reliable than anything else on the road. The Honda has a better engine, drives better, and handles better than the others.

What? I’ve seen a few new Camrys out in the wild and they’re utterly atrocious. The Accord is no beauty queen either, but the Camry is much uglier to me.
