I’m not.

I’m 2.

You have a BMW. Close enough right?
![]() 10/09/2017 at 12:58 |

Made by the same people so technically I’m a bmw driver

I think the other way around would work better. If I asked who owned a BMW and a Mini owner said that they did, they’d be a lot closer.

I’m like the opposite of a mini owner...so count me as -1

Used to have a classic mini.

Toyota is collaborating with BMW on the new Supra, so count me in too since I drive an MR2! :D

Yeah I realized how much better it would work the other way around as soon as I hit publish. Oh well.

Speaking of, as of this past week, I own a BMW!

I have two cars that were made by the same companies that made the PROPER Mini. If you’re talkin’ about this modern day, new fangled, air bagged, fuel injected start-on-first-try-when-cold Mini AKA the Bini then NO!!!!!!1111111

I’m not... I’m rather large.

Mini owner yes, but not Mini driver

I’m a co-owner of a ‘67 Mini Matic... Cars junk though, been sitting since 1995.. Maybe someday we’ll be able to fix it.

I’m not especially tall, but I don’t think I count as “mini”. Sorry.

Oooh that’s nice. Oh and there is a mini in the background

Someone saw my old user name a few too many times
![]() 10/09/2017 at 13:54 |

I don’t remember your old name. I’m just an irredeemable smart ass, and closet pedant (you didn’t capitalize “mini”). ;)

Takes a really small, dare I say mini, car to make an Elise look huge.
![]() 10/09/2017 at 14:11 |

My old name was mini guy (tall in real life). Again I didn’t capitalize mini

Oh yeah, right. I just remember there was “mini” and “guy” in there. But I never would have made any assumptions about your size ;)

Is it more reliable than mine
![]() 10/09/2017 at 21:06 |

Yes only hpfp in one year of ownership and it was covered by mini

2013 R56S here. Been pretty good so far at about 65k miles. Keeping it forever.
Had a 2008 R56 before that that got to over 100k miles with no repairs after warranty.
Also had a 2011 R55 that was pretty good until the crown gear or something started getting noisy around 80k.
All manuals.

Here’s mine.

For the 08 r56 I’m just gonna ask how in the world did you manage that

Helps it wasn’t an S. I miss that car, Mellow Yellow too.

2011 R56S. Bought it June 2016 certified pre-owned with a 2 year warranty and 32000 miles. Had my first repair just this week (high pressure fuel pump) and was covered by warranty. Other than that it’s been fantastic.

More reliable than mine lol
![]() 10/13/2017 at 01:06 |

What happened to it? I drive mine reasonably hard daily and it’s seen some track time too.

The previous owners never really looked after the car and when bought it, we had to replace the coolant system, head gasket, brake booster, fuel pump, and now we may have to buy a new engine
