Carmax has this !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , this almost makes me want to trade in my E92 for it; almost.
If you forgot about how much I like !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! :

Ooh, want. That’s an NA I6 too isn’t it?
![]() 10/08/2017 at 20:58 |

That would be correct, same N52 as I have in my E92.

Not a race car, especially in that piggy body style, but I’ll take all the smoothness and reliability thank you.
Love the color in and out, too -

My 328i feels slower than my 128i did, I’m sure the weight of the convertible won’t help that. I do like the smoothness and reliability though, put 16k miles on my 328i since March 17, 2017.
This color combo has me contemplating getting it; I like it that much.

This is what I want.

I didn’t even know that color was available!

I believe Jordan has seen that car in person. I think it’s about my perfect E46 M3, apart from the SMG. Green exterior, check; red interior, check; BBS LMs, check; SMG, no go.

Only on the pre-LCI E9Xs; I think they did away with it when the E90 got the facelift in 2009. That’s a damn shame because I like the color a lot.

I think the weight gain from your car to the E93 is pretty sizable - more than most convertibles, IIRC. I love ‘verts, but would prefer a cloth top, really.
And yeah, the BMW 6's are very reliable engines (despite what people say). I’ve got an M52 with 108k that’s never been apart, and runs like a champ (knock on wood).
I wouldn’t blame you for making the change - - I know you love green cars, I do too. If they had a good shade of green when I ordered my E46, I’d have picked that instead of Siena Red Metallic—

I think I’d prefer the cinnamon interior instead, but yeah this exact car with a 6MT would be amazing. God the gold LM’s just look amazing.

I think that is the cinnamon interior. This car is so right, apart from the SMG. Had this been a car with a DCT, I think I could get over that for the sheer fact of how good it looks.

Someone near me has a green E60 wagon. I want it.

You should get it. Thinking about how every day you would see it waiting in that color, and then getting into that light and cool interior...yeah, you should get it.

I believe it’s in the neighborhood of 300-400 lbs of extra weight. I think I would prefer the metal roof despite the weight because of longevity and the fact that it’d be easier to live with; less road noise, better climate control.
Non-M BMW straight 6's are usually very reliable. Not high strung, pretty simple. I’ve got 56k on mine now, got it with 40k.
I wish I could get it, but it’s just not the right choice, plus I’d have to give up my M-sport, which I like a lot. Even thought it’s not green, it still looks pretty fantastic.

Ugh. Now I’m looking all over Craigslist for E46's. I’ve been itching to get a car that I can work on, I’m hooked. I was thinking E24 at first, but if I’m not gonna be depending on this car daily might as well get something extra fun.

That’s the same weight penalty that was floating around my head, I think that’s right.
I’ve replaced the top in my E46 (vandalism), and believe me that ain’t cheap. The metal roof takes care of that.
I’d have a hard time giving up the M sport if I were you. Why not just add it to the fleet? Haha

Honestly, I don’t make enough to support 3 BMWs. If I did, this would be getting transferred to Savannah so I could buy it.

You’re welcome.
Any old BMW would suit the working on part. Personally I would love an E36 325is. While that might sound strange, high school me wanted one so bad.

Oh, I was very much kidding - but it’s fun to think about anyways.

It’s always fun to think about though.

I say go for it. I’m finding tons of them around me with full service records for under $3k... why not!
![]() 10/08/2017 at 21:49 |

I don’t have space for 3 BMWs, but I might have to start looking. 3k for a car I’ve wanted for a long time is pretty cheap. I mean, I spent way more on my M3 because I had always wanted one, specifically a 4 door M3.

Ew base seats. Sport seats are a must on a convertible IMO. A great spec otherwise.
![]() 10/08/2017 at 21:59 |

I think sport seats are a must on any E9X. They are much better than the non-sport seats. That’s one reason all my BMWs have had sport packs, or well, been an M3.

I guess if you stretch it M3 is kind of like the ultimate E9x sport pack. Or maybe the penultimate sport pack since the M3 GTS was like a sport pack for your sport pack [xzibit-yodawg.jpg]

Dew it.
You don’t have an e93, so that fills that spot. Then all you need is an e91 and you’ve completed the set. Gotta catch em all?

I do need to catch them all,
