So that only took about an hour and a half and I’ve been putting this off since around March when I bought the hitch.
Double sided tape holds it in place
All thread taped to wire to pull up into engine bay
Not professional but enough slack to change battery as needed
My not so super sketchy raise one side to run power wire
Backing up van is super easy with hatch open. 1 try
As an added bonus, trailer lights actually work!!

Let there be lights!
4-flat... what’s the power wire go to?

I was wondering the same thing.
I had a similar setup with the Kurt harness I installed on my sx4. I had to remove both rear lights and some plastics in the the rear under the hatch. But I didn’t have to power it to the battery

What I guess is since the rear lights are LEDs there isn’t enough amps to run more lights on the trailer. Power wire to the battery and the module is more like a relay box for Right, Left, Tail, and Brakes.
I did the same thing on my jeep for the rear bumper but added 4 actual relays for R,L,B,T. I grabbed the signal power from the flat 4 splitter, then ran a power wire from stereo amps. It worked out too because I had additional turns on the new to me ARB front bumper.

4 pole flat, Four-flat, flat-4. It’s one of those things you get wrong and remember it wrong and then it’s just always wrong.
I got about 1/2 way through then just finished on my own
