So my reverse lights burnt out (/I noticed today) today. So tomorrow I’lll buy some new reverse lights, I also buy new tail lights too. The center brake light is LED so I’m not worried about replacing that. Also !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! is god sent. It has the basics, but is a great tool.

I used them to replace the third brake light on my brother’s Sonata. It served me well.

Do you have to remove the whole light to replace a bulb. If I remember correctly on my SX4 I had to remove the whole light to get to the bulbs. I have no idea on my pathfinder.

I have to remove the whole assembly, it’s two screws (per unit) & it pops out.

There are some idiotic tips on there like how to open your hood, but it’s great. I had to use to figure out how to replace my headlight bulbs. I did not know to to remove some pipes if it was not for it. I’ve watched some how to videos & said “fuck it, I take it to a shop.”

Take the opportunity to upgrade to brighter bulbs or LEDs. It’s such a joy to actually see behind you with just the reverse lights. Something I miss dearly from my Volvo that I haven’t yet gotten to on the subsequent Mazdas.
