Picked up a new helmet this weekend!

Aside from patching over a scratch on my car, I also accidentally picked up a helmet! The Scorpion AT950 - a modular “adventure” helmet. What makes it an “adventure” helmet? Well it’s a very comfy modular helmet when you want it, or an open faced, beaked, off-road helmet when you’re ripping up trails!

Got it on clearance for a very reasonable 140$. Thank you, end-of-season sales!

I really dig the color too. They call it “Battleflage” which sounds like a skin pattern for an armor in Halo or Call of Duty, but it looks amazing and it suits my bike well. I can’t wait to take it on the trails next year.

I almost hit a girl on my last mountain bike trip cuz she was in all camo walking down the trail and I didn;t see her until I came around the corner. I usually wear white or yellow so i can be seen for that exact reason.

I guess by that metric most helmets have 2 to begin with, but if we’re being pedantic it also has two plastic bits for covering up the hinges when you’re not using the beak so it technically has 5.
