I always have my pedal foot like this while driving.

Wait why...

I don’t drive with a straight foot or straight leg either - one way that even being 6'2" I could still drive a VW Rabbit pickup with less leg room than even a normal Rabbit. Not tilted that far over, but not that far off.

So that he’s always ready to pop off that heel-toe!

I CAN PRETEND

That’s not where the throttle pedal is.

well yeah, that’s exactly what I was trying to highlight for everyone.

...I know it’s sad. Shh, don’t tell him.

I used to do that to, well I probably still do when I’m not paying attention. But I’ve been trying to fix it. Mostly because I’m Oder to hel toe you need to have you foot straight when it’s on the gas, and angle it to the left to reach the brake pedal. Which feels very unatural.

always ready to show off a burnout.

Similar?

Wait, I thought he had an accord coupe, not a mustang.
I R confused.
![]() 01/27/2017 at 13:08 |

if you’re heel-toeing with your heel on the brake, you’re doing it wrong

Bruh why is that warning sticker in French?
![]() 01/27/2017 at 13:13 |

My foot hurts just looking at that. And I can’t feel my legs.

You ought to see a doctor about that...

There isn’t one way to do something as long as you do it. If someone’s more comfortable doing it this way, more power to ya.
![]() 01/27/2017 at 13:26 |

Not for me, too much femoral anteversion to even attempt that.
![]() 01/27/2017 at 13:31 |

Not a bad thing at all, if you pivot your foot the transition time between brake and throttle is a lot less than someone who’d lift their foot.

Science words!
![]() 01/27/2017 at 13:37 |

I can’t do that, it’s not precise enough. Damn BMW and their bottom hinged throttles.

I think he’s trying to say your Oppo card is revoked due to a lack of a pedal there.

Nonsense!

Coming from a Smart Fortwo to a Honda Fit (automatic), I find that the ‘dead pedal’ is now too far to the left because the footwell is so wide, so I rest my left foot in that empty space between the brake pedal and the dead pedal.
![]() 01/27/2017 at 14:03 |

you should left foot brake. #MakeOppoRallyAgain
![]() 01/27/2017 at 14:10 |

Please hand over your card now. You are missing a pedal.
![]() 01/27/2017 at 14:21 |

My foot is similarly positioned, but not quite as extreme. I think for me it’s a combination of allowing my foot to pivot between brake and gas as well as keeping my knee from banging into the bottom of the steering column as I have long legs and short arms so I sit close than I’d like to the steering wheel.
![]() 01/27/2017 at 14:26 |

I think I do that to be able to control my foot movement better. When it’s longitudinal, I tend to put too much pressure on the throttle. This way it’s more controlled.

I wore a hole through my mats and floor carpet that way. I was more centralized, but still under the brake. It made my response times better, but it was mostly due to the car being and manual and me not living on a pool table.
