If you are not an HOV, you can pay a “floating toll” (price goes up and down depending on speed of highway traffic) to use the HOV lanes.

That ’ s my experience driving through Them Fancy Cities with HOV lanes. You feel like a baller for about 10 seconds, then everything normalizes. But there are some (Atlanta comes to mind) where the HOV lane actually takes a whole different path with it s very own ramps and overpasses and you really feel like you ’ re playing an arcade game. Especially at night.

Oh god I hate 405. I used to live off of sunset, way up in Renton, only realistic way home was to take 405.

The only significant wreck I’ve been in was on 405.
