My wish list has gotten very long and very expensive.
Someone please stop me, please
FG2 with a little low is what I need...

I’d be more surprised if the people of oppo didn’t have a car parts wish list.
I start to look for Abarth parts then see they have the “italian car” price tag that I am not used to paying coming from the plentiful and cheap Ford mod world. I’m guessing my wish list will stay wishes for a good while.

Yes, and I have the same problem (too long and too expensive). When I get to that point I just start over.

I don’t even own a car atm and have a wish list.

Yes. A ton of Formula Atlantic 4AGE parts. In particular, rods, bearings, dry sump (with engine reinforcements), valves, and springs.

Supercharger, new transmission. In that order because it will be necessary.

A full set of koni yellows for the Panda and a EFI conversion.

Phil
- 35% Window Tint.
- New valve stem caps.
- New driver’s door interior panel (warranty item).
(I plan to keep him mostly stock)
Tucker
- I have either an offroad project idea or motorcycle engine swap project idea. No idea what either would even cost. lol

I can enable you (co-dependecy) will that work?
![]() 01/16/2017 at 09:57 |

Well the main one (and cheapest) is supercharger.
The good news is that drivetrain stuff for 4Runners is reasonable because off road guys.

Yeah, an entire NSX-R

radiator (has a slow leak), steering rack (also a slow leak), clutch (very slight slipping). each priced at my shop for 1500-4800. :(
going to try to tackle the radiator myself when it gets slightly warmer.
and i’d like to overhaul the stereo system. probably another 1k.

Not really for the Galant, more like a list of things that need to be fixed. I plan on keeping it stock because I don’t have money to jump down the DSM rabbit hole.
However I do want to eventually get another 4th gen Civic hatch, and the parts list for that is Huuuuuuge.

Kinda, I was finally looking at getting an exhaust then I got laid off. M3 parts are expensive and even in stock form, it’s a fantastic car.

Motor mounts
Pitch stop mount
Suspension refresh
Tons of various bushings
New summer wheels
Oil pressure gauge
Sway bars and linkages
It’s only a few grand...

I have an unnecessary OEM accessory wishlist.
Top of the list is an under-bonnet tool kit, which as far as I know was never sold in the US.
That’s followed by a trunk safe, that I cannot find any information about where it’s supposed to be mounted, even after consulting multiple dealer brochures.

koni yellows and h&r springs
Axleback exhaust
Factory LED tail lights

Side mirror defrosters

I thought I was too...yet here we are in January and I’m still driving him lol. Just crossed 120k this morning.
I mean, our only motivation for selling him was “he’ll cost too much to keep around” then once the money started rolling in from the new career, we realized he makes no dent at all on the finances. So, I’m just doing whatever with him for now.

That was one of the reasons I kept my 1997 Explorer when I got my M3, it was paid for and the running costs were next to nothing, so might as well. I get why you’re keeping it.

I have a spreadsheet.
there is a full tab on my current car (even though it’s for sale), and on each of the cars I’d like to own.
I’d share it, but I have a shame.

I want one so badly, but in the rare event that one pops up on a European eBay listing it 1) is priced at about $100 before shipping and handling 2) sells almost immediately. That’s a bitter pill to swallow for some common tools and some bulbs and fuses that are probably shot.
Some people have taken to making their own, but my Jag has enough rattles coming from the engine bay as it is.

the home made one looks better, but yes would rattle like crazy.
perahps some sort of cut to fit foam could resolve this?
![]() 01/16/2017 at 11:23 |

I’ve thought about it, but I’ve been too lazy to do it, because the utility isn’t that great. In my experience, Jag problems can either be fixed with a multitool, or you need a tow truck. I guess I could put an emergency phone and a AAA card in there.
