I know I already have one, but damn I have a new love for these things. Do I need help? Or is it just a Corolla owner thing?

Corollas are awesome cars. There is nothing wrong with enjoying them :)

I stick with my assessment that a 2003 Corolla S was by far the worst car I have ever driven.
But hey buy what you like, even if I despise it.

What else have you driven? And I must say I think my friend’s 1996 Buick LaCrosse? or whatever Buick sedan it was was by far the worst, even though I got to drift it to my heart’s content.

Looks like a good deal, but why do you need another one?

I’ve got to ask. What about them appeals to you? Is it fun to drive, exceptionally practical reliable, looks!?
I’m just curious. Literally never heard anyone say anything good about Corollas beside reliability. Which I doubt would motivate you to buy a 2nd one.

To be honest, mine actually has quite possibly been one of the most unreliable Corollas ever. I like learning about cars and how they work and how to fix them, and I learned a lot of what I know from my Corolla and a little from the GMC Envoy my dad lets me use (like how to fix a transmission in the middle of nowhere).
I like how it’s easy to take them to their edge on track (yes, I’ve gone to a track) and how they are so easy to work on and don’t look like absolute shit. My Corolla’s original engine threw a piston just over a year ago, and I got to swap in an engine from an ‘05 Corolla XRS, which apparently according to Road and Track had Lotus tuning (I just chose that engine because I was a senior in high school and wanted to think I had gotten a better engine somehow).
And maybe just because it’s my first car that I can call mine. I mean, you love( (or loved) your first car right? It’s kinda like that

Well if you got an engine from an XRS, that would be a 2ZZ, which is definitely better than the base Corolla engine

I like to tease my wife and tell her she drives a Corolla. “It’s NOT a Corolla!”

It must be a Corolla owner thing. My MIL has one of that generation says it is the best car ever and plans to keep it forever. I’ve driven it and have no reaction besides meh.

Rather than text this question to you, I’ll just ask you here...
Why in the sainted hell would you travel halfway across the country to buy a beat-up example of an extremely easy-to-find car when you already have one of them and don’t even have a place to put that?

Because Corolla my friend. Or MR2, that would be nice too.

This looks like my mother’s car. She doesn’t like her. I said, of course, no one likes Corollas.
