Gotcha. My OG is still going strong but they are prone to failure. You can get a new drive for around $15 online and the whole thing comes apart with a basic screwdriver. (Its from a different era - it took me the better part of a day and many tools to disassemble my PS3 to replace a noisy fan and put new thermal grease on the CPU/GPU) A cheap used PS2 will also play old PS1 games like GT2.
