The Americans are going to get the Ford Ranger in a couple of years, but it’s not going to be quite as I would find at my local Ford dealer.
It’s going to be Americanised, so I’ve been researching the changes needed.
The Americans will need more of these:
And less (or none, indeed) of these:
They’ll also get a huge Ford logo across the front.
So there we have it. The Ranger, made suitable for the Americans.

Why would it need AdBlue? VW made a diesel that didn’t need it, so can Ford!
duh-dun-tish!
Edit: Also an automatic trans would require many more clutches. Just not of the operator operated variety.

Interestingly, my father bought a new diesel Focus this time last year so assuming it would need Ad Blue I went to show him the extra filler cap.
No Ad Blue.

Clearly, Americans are not secure in their sexuality, because this truck looks perfect just the way it is.

Not really, truth be told, because a 1.5 engine burns less fuel when in a small car and so less emissions. The same engine in a Mondeo (Fusion) needs Ad Blue.

It will also have a really really really big Ford logo or stamping on the tailgate.
