i do appreciate manufacturers sticking with one design for ~10 years and perfecting (or ruining) it.
at the very least it establishes the brand’s identity.

Well, I do attend to the school of thought that cars in this tier can get away with the same silhouette and design so long as it still is magnificent to behold, so...

totally agree.
let me ask this: among the super cars, do you consider the ferrari 458-488, and 360-430 and 348-355 to be the “same”? because if not, its funny that the midengined supercars seem to follow the 6-8 year turnover cycle of some less exclusive brands than these big lux coupes.

Same tier, but every car is different, so I don’t actually see their age. Can’t quite know where to place it, just gonna say they look like their time.
sm70- why not Duesenberg?

Honestly I’d probably still just go for the Speed model. At least the old SS looked kind of cool and unique. This just looks like a Continental with a bunch of boy racer crap stuck on.

what i was getting at was, i think the mid engine supercars don’t follow the same decade-long runs as the bentleys and astons rr’s. but that may be because the typical customer wouldnt be caught dead in anything older than the most recent supercar when racing to neiman marcus for the latest paco rabanne cologne.
(that is, unless like some, you’d consider the 488 to just be a facelifted 458.)
