2012 Gray GTI, currently has 18in Peeler reps and Conti DWS. I’m looking for a summer set, as these are pretty heavy. I would love to do a gold wheel, but not 100% sold on it yet. Only stipulations are that they are 5x112 and 18in. Going to be getting a small drop from VWR springs and Konti Yellows this spring. Any recommendations?

Take this with a grain of salt but this is my favorite hot hatch wheel: the Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2. I want a set myself.

Enkei Tenjins. Not super light (19.9 lbs for a 17x8, 22 lbs for an 18x8), but they’re pretty high quality, non-reps, unique, and decently priced for what they are.

I have Enkei’s on my Camry. I’ve put 150,000 miles on them. QUALITY. One hit the highway at 80 mph, still good. One hit a giant pothole at 50 mph tire exploded, still good(after close inspection). Go to tirerack.com

I really like Audi rotor style wheels, though they’re probably very expensive and I’m not too sure if they are light either.

I have PF01 Enkeis. Light (18 lbs for 18") wrapped in PSS which are great summer tires for a daily. I’ve also had star specs which were much noisier, and Advan A048 which are terrifying in any sort of rain.

GTIs look best on BBS wheels.

Anything from Neuspeed should be decent, lightweight and relatively affordable for what you get. We ran the RSe52 on my mom’s GTI, and they’re currently doing winter wheel duty on my grandparents’ Q3.
