As much as I don’t love the new Civic. I love the new Sonic Grey color, it’s actually really blue in person. Also the Sport model’s high gloss black wheels look terrible.

I just saw a Sport for the first time last week. It was this color combo. Agree 100%. Paint is nice. Wheels are WTF are they thinking.

If I had the money, I wouldn’t buy it.
I don’t know how I feel about the Civic hatch. I like it, but I don’t. Maybe if I see one at an auto show this year, I’ll feel differently.

I’ve seen one in this color in person. The color is nice. The rest, not so much.

The wheels look like cheap Hubcaps painted black.

I wouldn’t buy it either, even if we’re taking only used cars they’re several cars I’d buy before the Civic.

Reminds me of the Grey on some Jeeps. Can’t recall the color off the top of my head, but someone local had painted their s5x swapped e30 that color. Mmmmmm.

I want to like the paint but I see it as sporty old man blue.

Remember when Hondas didn’t try to look like something they aren’t? DNF remembers.

I get that, like it wouldn’t look too out of place on an olds Aurora.

Me too. I’d take another 91 over a 17 any Day.

it’d look good on a civic from the 90s/00s

I saw one in a dealership showroom that had blacked out badging. I wanted to cry.

Just saw a new Civic hatchback in the wild. It’s as hideous in person as it is in the pictures.

Honda says “Sonic Grey”. It’s Space Wolves Grey.

I kinda like the new hatch, personally. But, Honda still doesn’t seem too keen on making cars with sufficient headroom for me.
That new Audi A5/S5 sportback, on the other hand... Not that it’s anywhere near the same price range, but I dunno. I’ve grown to like this particular style coupe/hatch thing lately. Girlfriend’s mom has a first gen Mazda 6 with a similar large hatch opening like that, always thought it was pretty slick.
I otherwise stick to my more upright and tall person friendly VW wagons.
