Depends on the car. Things with slow rolling V8s and big, lopey cams are a lot of fun to drive slow.

I love winding my Miata out to 7k during my commute without even breaking the speed limit. There is one corner that I can get some oversteer around any day it’s wet so I even get in some oppo on those days. Snow days are the best, then it’s just a rally circuit the whole way!

Blub...blub...blub...blub...blub...
Mmm. One of many reasons to love a V8 car.

It’s no fun driving a fast car within the speed limit, which is also slow for almost every car these days. Traffic is torture regardless of the car.
The world is too congested for a fast car anymore.

I don’t know, my S600 is fun to drive slow in a weird way. I think it’s the drama of the V12

Probably not. But I doubt anyone is.

I understand the more fun driving a slow car fast than driving a fast car slow, but if you are both driving in the same place (which makes more sense when comparing the two) I would always rather be in the faster. Cause I would be stuck in traffic in either car if this was the route I was taking. It isn’t like the traffic wouldn’t be there is I was driving a Miata, but because I took the Turbo 911 out today there is traffic.
