Looks like GM is throwing Buick badges, as well as new front and rear bumpers, onto the Chevy Volt and calling it the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . The Velite has a cleaner, more low-key look than the Volt IMO; I like how it doesn’t have a large, conspicously blocked-off lower grille.
It’s a far cry from this 2004 Buick Velite Concept, but oh well.

That front end looks way better than the one we get.

I really can’t get over how much this thing looks like a Civic. It’s not a bad thing, but it just screams Honda to me.
And this Buick is an Acura.

I agree and I think that is a good thing. It looks handsome, I’d buy it (well, I’d buy a volt too but I’d prefer this)

Yeah, Chevy has definitely moved to a Honda-esque look for some of their cars - the new Equinox resembles the HR-V up front, to my eye.

I hate this car, it is consuming ungodly amounts of my time and they will sell 5 of the god damned things.

Which is typical, much to my chagrin.

What do you mean? Did you work on the Velite?

It looks like what the 2nd gen Vauxhall/Opel Ampera would have been, which was/is always better looking than the Volt.
