Never enough knives. I particularly like the 3 in the center, dead center most of all I think though.
Third from the right is one I used to EDC, had it since forever.
Unfortunately I lost one of my favorites, the one I got as a replacement EDC...
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
Today’s my birthday. I think I’ll go buy myself another one.

I carry a Kershaw leek, but I’ve had it a while. Looking to replace it with a Spyderco of similar size.

I haven’t got pics, but I have a ~20 year old Victorinox “Huntsman”, a stainless Leatherman knockoff produced by a Chinese supplier for NAPA, a little no-name camelbone handle and brass item, a partial-serrated Gerber with about a 4" blade and a clip, and a couple of others. Nowhere near as many as some of my family members.

I like Gerber’s stuff. They aren’t super high-end, but they make a nice knife.

I should get a leatherman. I find myself in so many situations where I could just use a pair of pliers (or a knife, or a standard screwdriver size). My dad was storing his in my car (there’s a little pocket in the glovebox door which holds one perfectly) but I gave it back to him when I left for school.

I should do the same thing and get rid of that knockoff.

Oh, I forgot one that I recently got from a friend of the family, belonged to her vet husband: a Ka-Bar. Has a station of service scratched into the sheath, IIRC, though I don’t remember where.
Edit to add: I actually have a book on knifemaking, covers nearly everything. Given to me by a friend in my church whose knife I reshaped for better use as a skinner.

I don’t like things taking up a lot of room in my pockets or having them on my belt. I also am not likely to need a 6 inch blade during my work day so the only knife I carry around is a Craftsman mini-utility knife. It cuts what I need to cut.

I really only have 2 knives
Gerber multitool
and my Buck 119
If I can’t do it with those two, I probably can’t do it.
BmanUltima's car still hasn't been fixed yet, he'll get on it tomorrow, honest.

I’ve got the same one. It’s such a nicely balanced knife.

I got Leathermans for all of my groomsmen and didn’t get myself one because I’m stupid.

Neither do I. I haven’t carried for a while mostly because of that. I used to wear a pair of pants with a key pocket that worked perfect, but I wore them out and I don’t have one anymore...
Also, OLFA or GTFAC :)

I have a drawer full of swiss-army knives and cheap equivalents as well. The only Swiss Army knife I carry is in my commuter-bag and it was a groomsman gift from my brother-in-law.

Get a Gerber (both of you) the the knife is better and the pliers method is WORLDS better.
This is like the one I have. Simple, compact and effective. The pliers are strong clamping than leatherman, but precise enough to use as tweezers (seriously), and the one-handed opening seals the deal for usefulness.

It takes an edge well too. it doesn’t hold an edge as well as some other steels but its pretty good.

No pics, other than my Shuffle 2.
Also will alternately carry a Spyderco Delica, Kershaw Scallion, or Leatherman C33Tx (and an old E303 with a trashed blade). Have a couple of other cheap Kershaws knocking around, as well as a Kershaw Funxion rescue knife that lives in the pickup.
And yes, buy a new birthday knife - You’ve successfully made another trip around the sun!

Currently Running a Griffin Multi Tool on my keychain, and I’m pretty happy with it. Love the pocket clip. I carried without a blade for a while and realized I definitely missed having something with an edge to open boxes, so I also picked up a Kershaw Chive for EDC. Love it, though I need to take a brush to it because it’s getting some spots.
What I really miss, and probably my favorite EDC of all time, is my Leatherman Style PS not to thick, not too bulky, just the tools I needed. Unfortunately, despite being TSA approved, mine was confiscated at a PGA tour event.

Ha! The Craftsman kind of happened by accident since I got a set of a full sized and the mini utility for a present. I had been carrying a pen knife that I got as swag at work but it was really dull and cheaply built. I just started carrying the mini-utility and have found it to be very ... utilitarian.

L -> R
1) Work multitool (offbrand no blade since knives aren’t allowed on premesis, also for flying)
2) House Multitool (leatherman wave)
3) Garage multi tool (leatherman super tool)
4) Fishing/hunting carry (don’t remember what model)
5) Box opener, very occasional carry when I have to be in business casual w/o a blazer and you can see it (Buck rush)
6) All purpose blade, daily carry when not working/flying (Spyderco delica)
Not pictured:
Off brand tiny pen knife (lives in blazer pocket, still have a small blade on me at work...because. Use offbrand in case I go some place like an airport where I can’t have it so I just chuck it in a trash can)
Car multi tool (leatherman juice)
Got a few others, but they’re out of rotation these days.

Recently replaced my V1
with a v2
Handy things to have in the messenger bag, not so overtly knifey that it’d ruffle anyone’s jimmies (except the TSA, obvs). I’ve had the 1 for about 14 years, these SOGs seem to hold an edge better than any other knives I’ve had.

Blade-wise, this is my pride and joy. Here’s a post I did right after I got it:

A Benchmade Volli and a generic utility knife. They serve me well. I’m still waiting on my Opinel #8 to come in. I bought that on the suggestion of another oppo-- I just don’t remember who.
Edit: photo kinja’d. Use your imagination.

I share a similar dislike of crap in my pockets. I bought the volli because the liners are recessed into the handle and it has a relatively thin blade, so it’s noticeably thinner than other full size knives. It’s minimally noticeable on my person during the day.

No knives, just this.
It’s kind of noisy though.

Thanks. I’ll keep that in mind when I finally get sick enough of it to replace it, but for now the pliers are the least-used feature.

Not very practical for opening envelopes or boxes, either.
