Why? Because it was sitting around in the garage all alone and I was bored.

It’s cool because it’s orginial to the car. Probably the only original piece of equipment left on the entire car. Which means I’ll finally be able to score a point in concourse

Im taking the SL to a judged show tomorrow (all German show, something new for me). Theres messed up or broken trim pieces, my turn signals are still held in with zip ties because I havent found the same style for a reasonable amount of money yet. Paint is rough, orange peel from a shoddy touchup job the previous owner had done, dings all over...

But the person in charge of the event said I could park with the classics (6 more years before QQ eligible, but the body style came out in ‘89). I figure, something to motivate me into figuring out why the top wasnt going down (user error), check everything else, and do a serious cleanup, vaccuum and wash. Even cleaned the spare tire, checked the hydraulic fluid levels...I wouldnt consider my car trophy material against probably all the other concourse ready cars that will be there, but screw it, its my car and Im proud to say its mine.

Anyway, on your Alfa, have you considered ITG air filters?
