For those of you on IE (which is most of you at an office or in large colleges, etc), have you noticed a lack of ability to post in the past few days? It’s gotten really bad for me lately, in addition to the inability to edit, make paragraphs, post pics, etc, which have been plaguing Kinja for a long time. I know we used to have a tech support email that could help, but I can’t seem to find a link anywhere. All I know is my options have gotten more and more limited over the past couple years, and now its at the point of insane frustration as I write up a post, only to find out that it can’t be submitted. TIA for any tips. PS - I miss having Chrome at my old job. (EDIT for CalzoneGolem since I can't reply: IE 11.0.96)

IE doesn’t work for me either. Running windows 7/whatever version of IE was installed on my computer 1 year ago.

Did you know Chrome can be installed without admin permissions? Used to do it at school all the time.

In the purchase agreement with Univision, Denton got to keep all the IT people and related tech support for Kinja.

I can reply, but I can’t post pictures.
I can post pictures from my phone except from this morning I can only post pictures in a new thread and strangely can’t reply or post pictures in a reply.
It’s getting on my t1ts.

I’ve been using Edge some. Current status:
Can’t post images.
Non-image posts will post, but the browser itself gets stuck on the submitting screen. If you reload the page, the post does appear though.

I’m getting all that with Edge but if I try to post pictures, it will just come up, ‘do you want to leave this page?’. If I click yes it reloads the page without my reply, if I click no it goes page to how it was, trying to load the picture onto the screen.

What version of Windows? If you’re on 10, will they let you use Edge? IE 11 is a clusterfuck in general.

Have you considered a portable app version of chrome or firefox? Load it to a flashdrive and run it without installing it

Firefox portable. Just extract somewhere on your computer and run it. Doesn’t install anything so admin permissions don’t matter

Posting from my phone because IE11 at work won’t let me respond. I’ve had a similar decline to you and have had to start drafts on IE then put final touches and pictures on from my phone before posting.
