My first day went well, I did not get fired. Yay!!!

Kinja'd!!!

Got to sit in on a meeting, my bosses took me out to lunch, I went out to look at a code issue with a co-worker, and worked on a temporary project.

On my way home I grabbed some McDonald’s and instead of the 2 single cheeseburgers I was supposed to get I got two doubles, and a large drink. All of which wrecked my internals. I also saw this rather jacked up gas pump.

Kinja'd!!!

Such photo quality

And to top it all off, this little ball of fluff seems to have warmed up to me.

Kinja'd!!!

Again, such quality!

I’ve also decided that I should (eventually) build an early 4th gen Firebird into a standing mile car.

Kinja'd!!!

That is all.

It seems like it’d be a very aerodynamic shape for a mile run, though I’d ditch the heavy pop-ups for fixed lights, and also ditch the driving lights and smooth the bumper.

I’d just plexi over the fog-light openings so the were flush, but still “there”. I’d leave the pop-ups.

Weight savings tho. Also, no t-tops. Fixed roof is lighter.

Yep, these early cars still had a fixed roof option, the later cars (like mine) were all T-tops.

You’re welcome!

I dig the standing mile idea too :)

The early 4th gens get no love, I think the aero would be great for high speed runs.

I actually prefer the early ones. I think it would be great. 3rd gen TAs are known to be pretty good for it, I would think early 4th gens are even better.

Oddly enough, third gens actually have a lower drag coefficient than forth gens.
