My town apparently has an undercover Hellcat charger.

Did I mention I live in Virginia. Jail rates are about to skyrocket.

I’ve seen an under cover OPP Grand Caravan’s. They only had a subtle puck antenna on the roof.

What an insanely impractical cop car, though. I wonder if it was something that was impounded and abandoned that they re purposed.

Where about are you from? Here in SoCal it’s becoming almost exclusively Explorers, with the odd Panther here and there, and occasionally some Chargers if the city bought them instead of the CHP standard Explorer.

On the day of the War Memorial and Parliament Hill shootings, I found out that Ottawa Police have undercover second-gen Escapes and Outbacks.

Possibly. If the Cop had to arrest anyone I’m sure a marked cop car would have the pleasure. and PHX.

It would chase down the car, then call in a cruiser if needed to take the suspect away.

I saw someone get pulled over in Indiana by a Mustang in the same guise.

I just want to take this time to talk about how stupidly low Canadian expressway speed limits are. The void between Toronto and Detroit does need a limit of 100kph/62mph. Just did that drive again last night and said fuck it, set the cruise to 135kph and got home.

Luckily only had one cop scare but I saw the car in enough time to slow down.

It’s not like you’ll ever do the speed limit in the 401 though Toronto, there is so much traffic you’ll be luck to break 50kph. You can do 120-125kph on the 400 series highways and the cops don’t care.

My town has gotten extremely sneaky lately

There’s an unmarked silver GMC Sierra crew cab, a Toyota Highlander in beige with a family stick figure family, a couple challengers, a magnum, and a mini cooper!

Oh yea, in cities it completely makes sense, cant be upset about that. There was more traffic in Toronto at 10pm on a Sunday than Detroit at 8am on Monday.

The expressway speeds in rural areas just seems artificially low to me.

The 401 is always packed even at 3:00am on a Wednesday. It is the most busy highway in North America, on a busy day It will see over 500,000 cars.

That’s the most un-Virginia-speeding-laws car ever. The law is the law unless you are the law I guess.

sneaky... Mostly Tahoes, Explorers, a few of the older Chevy police SS Impala things and a few F150s up here.

that’s so they can go exceedingly fast to “catch up to you” from 2 miles away when you have out of state tags and claim you were speeding...ask me how I know. I hate VA.

See them all the time on the DVP. Unmarked, in the OEM dark blue colour.

They’re just to blend in and/or PR. They look good at community events on static display and are perfect for looking for a particular car on the highway - it’s easier to look for a suspected trafficker or Amber Alert while looking like a generic car instead of unmarked Panthers, blacked out Chargers/Ford Interceptors which still scream “cop"

There’s a department in Georgia that has a few marked Challengers. With the V6.

They transport people in the passenger seat.
