I don’t give credence to their aesthetic critique, but it was the last car sold with a standard cassette player, marketed to the elderly, and has a suspension filled with metal shavings and ball bearings in marshmellow fluff.

They’re too stiff to be comfortable, and too soft to be sporty.

I always thought that criticism was unwarranted. It’s not great, but it’s far from the worse. I mean, it actually is reliable, comfortable and has enough power to get you around. It’s not a canyon-carver or particularly pleasing to behold. There are far worse cars out there than these.

It was quite literally the Lexus version of the Mercedes CLK, all the way down to the timing, engine displacement, etc. That rear end is one of the worst things I've ever seen, but other than aesthetics, I don't have much beef with it. The wheels on the version above are the best I've seen. Most of them have the really obnoxious fat-spoke versions.

It’s a fucking luxury coupe. What do people expect? You buy this to be comfortable and wrapped in a high level of luxury. You drive this car at the speed limit and listen to classical music maybe some Jazz, that is all.

SC430 (especially face-lifted ones) are so awesome! “Auto enthusiasts” are just forver brainwashed by Top Gear. The V8 is bulletproof and just begging to be used. The suspension is not cushy for grandpa like everyone claims and have never driven. Camber can be adjusted all around as well as the rack and pinion tightened or loosen for feel. The entire car was built so damn good. And yes, dat interior is so damn badass! Give me a 2010 in Matador Red over any dumb German price of douchey junk.
