Ah yes, mine is pretty poor as well. I didn’t even have to go to medical school to get bad hand writting.

What’s sad is I was a cynical little child who said I didn’t need good handwriting because by the time I became an adult everyone would use computers for everything. I’m actually a little sad that I was right.

That’s a first. I only have two focuses for my handwriting, one is to be readable and the second is to be fast. Unfortunately I’m terrible at both but they are still my primary goals when writing. I don’t care if it’s fancy or consistent.

I can do one or the other, but not both. OTOH I can type faster than anybody else in the office and with higher accuracy, so all my notetaking is electronic these days. Actually, I have a notebook full of chicken scratches, but if I want it to mean anything I have to type up my notes within 24 hours or its pretty hopeless.

Yeah for work I try to type as possible. When I’m being creative I handwrite because the physical activity helps get the gears moving.

I always considered the fact a calculator may break for that argument for some reason but never for handwriting. Also, I liked math.

I suppose, but cell phones were my point. I dislike math, but I am good at it....
