My friend's 2016 Mustang GT is absolutely gorgeous.

While I do like those wheels I disappoint it’s not a perf pack.

He got it CPO so it's not like he really had a choice.

I’ll let Steve talk about CPOs

Meh. Performance pack is hardly necessary

FWIW, it is a ‘16 and has low-mid 4-digit mileage. It may as well be a new car. The thing is pristine.

you are right... I just like those sexy brembos. The gearing in particular on the stock 5.0 is much more conducive to normal driving, the sticky summer only tires are a pain and that front splitter is going to get busted off...

Does it change the front splitter?

just tried it on the configurer. you have to take the 19" performance wheels in the track pack

I think the current mustang is the best looking ever. unfortunately, the build quality leaves much to be desired. walk around your friend’s car and check panel gaps. you’ll be amazed how bad they are. It’s a shame because Ford has a lot of cars I would buy if they weren’t built by Ford.

I didn’t really notice/pay attention to any build quality faults. Then again, maybe I’m just used to it. And I suppose it must look extra bad when compared to how far Chevy has come with the camaro’s interior.

i run a body shop for a multifranchise dealer which includes Ford. the techs hate working on them because nothing fits right. Once in a while a customer notices the issues and comes in complaining that their new car “was wrecked before i got it.”

I have not been in a new camaro yet. i had a 15 as a rental car last fall, and it felt like the interior should have said “fisher price” on it. hopefully the new ones have addressed that.

The camaro that I got in at an auto show last winter was drastically improved.

Interesting. I would have thought you could get the other optional wheels instead.

it’s probably because the track pack has staggered wheels
