Not enough front overhang. 0/10.

No. Just no. 280zx turbo if you have to go 80's turbo. I have driven one, was very disappointed.

I kind of like looking at it. I would be curious to see what they would’ve designed the front end like if they weren’t saddled with those sealed beams though, they make a pretty solid design look a lot more outdated. The wheels are the best part I think, I want to put them on a MK1 or 2 GTi or something

Nope...a friend of mine in high school sold his RX-7 so he could get one. He always regretted that he did not get a newer RX-7 instead. To me it always looked like it was trying to trick you into thinking it was a Mustang.

Would probably be a fun car if it was RWD. Then you *might* be able to look past the 80's Chrysler product aspect.

I love the way they look, but I have no interest in driving one.

I like the looks of the Turbo Z better, but they are essentially K -Cars under the skin, so handling isn’t that great.

I love the looks too. I actually would buy one for around $1100 or less and DD it.

They’re quick, cheap, and good looking. It’s no wonder I like them.

Can’t see a red Daytona without thinking of Hunter. Sorry, that didn’t answer the question... or did it?

This car, above any other IMO, is a car that should have been built as a rwd car.

Love these. Always wanted one. If you buy one look for the 2.2 turbo II model with the getrag trans. You can tell the get rag trans by its golf ball like metal shift knob (if it’s still factory) goes like stink, easy to mod, if you can get the electrics in order very reliable. If you get a shelby model they are a GLHS in gran touring clothing. FWD can be looked over because it’s such a fun car. Plus the stick ecu will read up to 21 psi of boost before it shuts down. Stock is like 10.

I will warn you though, I am a malaise era mopar fanboy.
