Too bad. How many are there in the UK anyways? Probably not that many.

He’s at the back, this was before we drove some country lanes to get to a car meet. Slightly odd convoy.

Hard to tell, a few hundred W140s in total I can imagine. The S500L I was looking at was pretty neglected, typically owned by someone who couldn’t afford it. The rust and engine tapping together were enough to make it too much of a hassle, even with the cars price being only a grand. The guy planned to part it out if I wasn’t buying it, I think he’ll have a hard time making his money back that way though. Theres next to no demand and the engine didn’t exactly appear to be healthy.

Ouch, it was probably the best decision to just pass up on this one. Saved you a lot of nerves and monies that way. I’m sure there will be the right W140 for sale at the right time. If you only lived in southern California where there are tons of W140s.

Oh yeah, CerealMarshmellows on youtube is the best address for SOcal W140s. I will probably concentrate more on the C215 CL500 in the future. With prices being so incredibly low over here, its hard to resist. Or stick with BMW and get a facelifted E65 750i.

Lovely choices. Prices really are down for large early 00's land yachts.
