Me, I had a rough day at work (two power outages in an hour, and getting back on track from delays they caused), so i’m having the strongest beer in my fridge, a Ruination.

I had a tough day relationship-wise so I mixed up some unholy concoction of rum, blackberry brandy, triple sec, oj, and seltzer and am now “enjoying” it with a pint of ben & jerry’s

I think I’ll call this drink “the painkiller” because I don’t feel anything but giggles right now.

Flying Monkeys Genius Suburbia. This brewery from drinking their other brews is hit & miss. Some are very good, some you dump down the drain. It is bearable enough to drink, but would not buy it again.

I’ve never been into session IPAs. If I’m going for the hoppiness, I also want the high alcohol content.

It is not even a strong IPA, only 3.8%. It is way over hopped too (like most craft IPA’s).

Yeah, that’s a typical Session IPA. For when you want the hoppy taste, but not the typical ABV normal IPAs have.

Allagash doesn’t make much I dislike. Its a Belgian and has very little in common with the original. I got the mixed 24 pack of Fat Tire and Friends and I'm interested to see how they all work out.

I’ll keep an eye out for it. I’ve seen individual bottles of them in stores that do pick 6s, but never noticed the full 24 pack.

There’s a sour apple beer (or something) that I’m really curious about too but it didn’t sound like it would go with spaghetti.

Sour apple beer actually sounds pretty good, but not with spaghetti. I had a pineapple wheat beer a few weeks ago...that was amazing.

Highly recommend it for a laid back night. I wouldn’t say it’s a session beer I’d stick with all night though.
