You have to pick 3 Jalopnik authors and get set a criteria of type of car, and budget. Then a set of challenges. For bonus points find some one else’s idea and guess what you think they would take.
As an example,
Jalopnik challengers.
Patrick George; Jason Torchinski & Michael Balaban.
$2500 Delmarva challenge.
Each presenter had to buy and modify a vehicle that can take the entirety of Assateague Island National Seashore park. (It’s basically all beach off road). At the end of the park they have to sleep in their cars for the evening, because they have to turn around at the parks souther terminus, head north to ocean city. They must take part in a comparison to see who can get the most pictures of their vehicle. Followed by a fuel economy challenge to Hemmingways restaurant on Kent Island.

Any presenter team that doesn’t include Graverobber is trash.

Here’s an additional restriction: the vehicles need to be two door offroaders that are NOT a Wrangler.

They get whatever they can afford and want to buy...though i kind of like the idea of specifying which car each person has to get, then you could force them into cars they specifically wouldn’t choose

Point Roberts is basically Vancouver anyways, especially since there’s only like 1000 people there and to get there by car it’s mandatory to go through Canada.
Same with the Northwest Angle in Minnesota.
