I guess my gauge isn’t perfectly linear past 1/8 of a tank. It quickly dropped low enough to see the the E tick ABOVE the needle, approaching Kramer-style wrecklessness. Nearest station ten miles from there. According to this pump, I had at most 9 miles left of gas in my tank by the time I got there.
As a married man, who has also worked at the same company for many years, this is PEAK dangerous living for me, people!!!

Regularly falling asleep next to someone who would assume all your assets upon your death sounds riskier :/

What assets do I have, the longbed?

You wouldn’t kill for a longbed?

That’s more of a liability than an asset.

We’ve accidentally achieved a synergy here...

Oh by the way, those modern ones are totally pieces of shit. I found a proper one at a garage sale some years ago. Try that.

Even with the scan gauge I start hyperventilating under 100km to empty.. I went down to 20 km once but it wasn't worth the stress.

Like Zoid said. Or for some reason our thrift stores always seem to have them.
