So for the past couple of months I’ve been looking around for a new car. I’m going to get one next year but I’m trying to get myself informed about my possible choices.

I even made a post about it:

So while I was poking around, looking at other cars, I stumbled upon the 2017 S4. On paper it looks good and after seeing a VERY extensive review on it which you can see here:

I found it to be a very good car. However, while I was looking for reviews, estimates, cost, etc. I came across this fucking thing:

Now, I was a bit annoyed by the title and the overall tone of the article but, hey, they editors write whatever they want. What I was annoyed by was the replies. The incessant phalanx of squawking twats bitching about how it’s not better than a BMW or how the car doesn’t have manual or bitch bitch bitch bitch bitch.

God damn dude, you don’t like the car, cool. Car’s not for you. Best thing you can do is not buy it. But don’t be a fucking car hipster. “Ohhhhhh, it’s not Porsche it’s pronounced Porsch- uhhhhhhhhh”. You’re not helping your case and everyone hates you.

Maybe I’m bitching too much. I dunno. But it’s shit like that, that doesn’t make me want to the front page.

Fuck it. I’m getting some Nesquick.

Yeah the S4 gets a lot of hate mainly because it changed philosophy when the RS4 was created. It’s unwarranted though, the S4 is great and all the performance most would ever hope to need. Most people on the front page think that they’re tame racing drivers too though.

I also would never want a manual in my daily driver so I guess I’m not cool either lol

But I think I’ll be able to figure out what someone’s talking about even if they’re not trying to accurately reproduce German phonemes .

Maybe if it gets mangled enough there could be confusion with porches? Besides, as Stef has shown us, the preferred American variant is PARSH (e.g. “dis gud Parsh”).
