It needs bigger tires, and at least one less digit in the price.

It makes Land Cruisers look affordable. Still a deal compared to a Land Rover, however.

I think it’s the cheapest G on craigslist here, and it’s the only manual diesel with that amazing plaid interior

Love the plaid interior. High price, but not insane - in western WA I suspect the ask wouldn’t be less.

When I am in the lower mainland, I sometimes see 2 door G-wagens, which with the soft top are pretty awesome too.

Yeah it’s not a bad price. I just want it to be cheaper so I could actually consider it. I’m glad there are still some 4x4s out there that haven’t gone crazy with prices yet...

These don’t seem to suffer from Defender mania for some reason, maybe because of so many posh later models with the same look.

A pukey green 2 door soft top with plaid interior would be fun.

Yeah that’s entirely possible, they don’t have the perceived exclusivity. Ooh yes.

Though I was more referring to properly cheap things, like first gen Pajero/Montero/Raiders. They are few and far between, but really quite capable and underrated.

Manuals show up rarely, but I see more on my side of the border, and they’re usually cheaper too. My friend has his Raider languishing on his dads farm with a cracked head, I’m trying to get that one from him...

This is abit less, has the proper amount of doors, and proper wheel base.

It be around $13,700 and converted to USD. The only thing I change is the tires for something more aggressive.

$14600 USD for G wagen with 57k miles (assuming conversion from CAD to USD & Km to Mi), sounds like a good starting place.
