Few things are worse(well ok there are a lot of things worse but bear with me) than going on a trip and experiencing almost uninterrupted clear weather only to come back home and everything is just drizzling lightly with completely uniform gray undercast, which as far as I’m concerned is the worst weather possible in the middle (well end-ish) of summer without it outright flooding (or God forbid snowing). I feel too gray to even bother to read a book today.

Last year I came home from vacation to a snowstorm. It was hard enough to adjust to freezing cold temperatures and snow after being in warmth and sunshine, but then I promptly slipped outside of my house, fracturing my ankle and spraining my wrist (the latter happened in the course of elbowing myself in the stomach and knocking the wind out of myself, so there was that too).

I hear ya. Guess it’s subjective; I’m absolutely loving the weather today. We need the moisture and I moved here to get away from the 100 degree heat
