Without a doubt. I like the look of the CTS coupe, but the ELR is simply gawgeous. I wish I could afford one, it would be a near perfect commuter for me or my wife.

Yes, but neither of them actually looks good.

Agree. ELR is a great looking car. Positive size, good lines. However
Reduce price by $30000 to be more in line with what buyers actually get
Continue to suffer sales slump that SUVs say ‘luxury’
Do not profit
Wish they had a path to success. Future ‘collector’ for sure.

I don’t like the styling of either particularly but I’m inclined to agree nonetheless. The rear end on both is significantly too tall but with the ELR that is at least cohesive with the rest of the design. That badonkadonk just does not fit with the nose on the CTS.
ATS coupe looks good though, I’ll give them that.

There is no discussion. My grandfather once served as an attorney and was well-known for the Arthur Conan Doyle-inspired expression “Never argue ascertainable facts."

Wouldn't know. I've literally never seen an ELR on the road...they must have sold like <2 of them.

CTS: Available with supercharged V8
ELR: Available 4 cylinder and a battery pack
R.I.P. in peace, ELR.

I kinda don’t like the ELR. But the styling as a whole looks like it was supposed to be a coupe from the start instead of a sedan with a weird back half.

Besides the point. The ELR looks better.

It is completely the point. They’re cars, not paintings. You’re not going to spend all of your ownership experience staring at them.

The point is that the the ELR looks better. That’s all. Not which is a better overall car.

Related note: ATS coupe looks better than the CTS coupe.
Also, I agree about the ELR. Seriously wish those had taken off.

I just find it silly that it has a Miata-small trunk opening, when the Volt it’s based on is a liftback.

So you’re okay with buying a Youabian Puma? It certainly will bring an interesting ownership experience.

Third point: the ATS coupe is the best proportioned.

Just food for thought, but you should have side by side pics of both cars as a reference, mainly because I’m lazy.
Alas, you are right and that is all that matters.

Easily. The CTS coupe is probably the ugliest modern Cadillac. I’d rather be seen in a Cimarron.
On the other hand, the ATS coupe is quite attractive. I would absolutely rock one of those.

Not more distinctive, though. In a time where you have to look twice or three times to tell what brand most cars are, the CTS coupe looks like no other car in the world.

I just saw an ELR in person. Photos don’t really capture the ELR or the CTS accurately.

The ELR is more Cadillac than the CTS.

I’ve seen one in the wild. Good thing I had my seat belt on, or I would’ve fallen right out of my truck. They look absolutely stunning in person.

Neither one of them is a looker, honestly. The ELR suffered from horrendous proportions, with a stubby minivan-like hood and front wheels pushed all the way back under the A-pillar; while the CTS Coupe had that big giant ass sticking up in the air.
The ATS, on the other hand, just about nails it.
