Yet again my “new” phone has shat the bed. Apparently it’s a known issue with the Power Module. This will be phone #3 in 45 days.
U.S. Cellular has been fairly accomodating. At the physical store they unboxed a new one and swapped them. Both visits took 2 hours though. This time I called and they’re overnighting a Reman machine. At a cost of $35. I was about to get upset at that. But $35 is less than 2 hours of my time sitting in a store. Ugh. I should have stayed prepaid. Live and learn..
If you read this far? Congrats!
As soon as the new phone gets here tomorrow I’ll be on it quick. I have a pending deal on one of these! God willing he’ll move a little on price cause I don’t want to drive to Minnesota and come back empty handed.

Ah man, my G3 just died last week. I’ve had so many issues with it, I’m never going back to LG phones. I’ve moved to a Experia Z5, awesome phone!!

My Nexus 5 went through hell before dying. I probably could have revived it with a new screen and digitizer but it was time for a carrier change. I had high hopes but I’m soured. Now, I’m taking the insurance and saying F—k it. The bugs are supposed to be fixed, I’ll believe it when I see it.

What sort of issues?
Mine’s been okay. Except it seems sluggish despite the massive specs which is annoying. I broke the Wi-Fi once by dropping it, but managed to claim warranty anyway. The GPS seems much less reliable than it should be. But all-in-all it’s not too bad.
I’ve been thinking my next phone should be a Samsung, if they ever stop cramming their devices with shit software nobody needs or wants.

Sluggish is an understatement for how my G3 performed. I had all of the third party apps deleted, all my own files deleted, just to see if my files were the reason the phone worked so slow.
My keyboard stopped functioning, just like that. Hadnt dropped it, hadnt downloaded anything weird or spray water on it or anything, it just stopped functioning. I could get it to pop up, but it wouldnt type for shit. They wrote it off as a ‘software error’.
My volume buttons on the back had a tendency of working whenever they felt like it. Its not so much an issue because you can control the volume on the phone itself, but still.
The motherboard decided to crash altogether last week for no apparent reason. I have to be honest here, the durability is great. I dropped it hard a couple of times and it kept working alright, but it just has a tendency of crapping out for no reason, even before dropping it.
Theres a whole list of complaints online about the phone. When they first brought out the G3, it had a ‘shut down’ issue. It would randomly shut down, for no damn reason. I had it brought in to get it fixed, but they never really found out what it was, because it kept doing it at least once every three months.
I actually arrived late once at work because of my alarm on my phone not going off, because it decided it needed to restart out of the blue and, of course, get stuck on the ‘Enter PIN’ screen.
F*ck LG phones.

Hahaha. I don’t have too many of those issues. It has shut down before, but very rarely. But you’re right, it shouldn’t happen at all.

Feeling pretty validated in my choice of S7 right about now.

I went from a Galaxy Note 2 to an LG G4. The G4 gets worse signal reception. It’s a piece of junk.
