Congratulations. I was in Lubbock for school for 7 years. I left when I realized my two options in Lubbock were drinking myself to death, or making a family.

You say “Bachelors”, and then you show a picture of a Texas Tech tie. Those two things don’t correlate. ;)
ETA: Congrats!!

You’ve won a battle but the war never ends. That’s a pretty good accomplishment. What’s next?

Yeah, engineering is what straight up killed me. I could do the actual projects and do some cool stuff that they hadn’t been able to do before, but I couldn’t put it to the test.

We’ll see. Initiating the job hunt right now, wouldn’t be opposed to getting into a business that might make it an incentive to get a Master’s, but it’s a crazy market right now anyway.
Otherwise...

It’s a hollow victory, about like the cardboard tube they handed me on the stage lol. The fight is just getting started.
Thanks though :D

What degree did you get?
What killed me was getting up (sober) for class. If it interested me, like engineering, I did well. But english, history, etc., I was lucky if I even went to class. Wasn’t too smart at 18 =p

University Studies, mostly logistics/management based but with a large core of it in math. Relatively new field but it’s getting pulled into different groups in the job field. We’ll see where I go. I won’t be making crazy bank, but it should be somewhere stable.
