“Road Tuned so it makes an estimate of around 1000hp on 32psi and has ran a best of 8.96 @ 158mph in full street trim driven 3 hours each way to and from the track”

If it looks like shit on the drag strip, it’s going to destroy you.
It looks to be in perfect condition though.

Nice one. I’d love to drive this red sleeper Falcon even more:

Not quite as fast, but I prefer the slightly more modern body style.

Well we got these engines and you had the malaise yes.
This engine design, the SOHC 4.0 Ford I6, introduced in 199o was not turbo charged from factory (I’m not going to include tuner specials) but could be spec’d in XR6 guise with 164kws (equivelant to holders EFI 5.0L V8 at the time and to Fords own EFI Windsor XR8 in its lowest power form)
Interesting Aussie engines worth reading about are the Group A Walkinshaw Holden V8 and the Barra turbo 6

I love the barra! I want to import a truck load of them but shipping from beautiful australia is really really expensive.

It is unarguably the only truly Australuan engine available today.

They wind up in all sorts of places, the fastest Barra powered car is a Holden.
