!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! was an attempt to replace things that stress me on a daily basis to make my life a little easier. Not one thing has gone as hoped so far.
Kitchen faucet: Installed, but one of the brand-new hoses leaked at the fitting. Making me have to put the old one back in until I can return the defective hose. Also, I broke the cabinet skirt laying in there to change the faucet.
Doorbell: Tring to run new wire to replace the cloth-wrapper ancient wires in the wall, I discovered said wire was tack in place somewhere in the wall. Discovered this when the wire snapped. Negative progress made.
New fridge: Got it delivered this morning. Went to move it into the kitchen tonight and discovered the top is dented, a door screw is cross-threaded, & a screw is cross-threaded on the bottom and sticking out.I discovered that last one when it gouged the hell out of the hardwood floor in my living room.
New Stove: Still in the living room, I’m kind of afraid to touch it for fear what I might discover there.

This sounds like a George Costanza moment.

This sounds like every time I try to fix anything. My dad gets offended every time I hire someone to fix something but sometimes I just want to keep my sanity.

So now you get to learn:
cabinetry and modern plumbing to fix the sink
drywalling, plastering and painting to fix that doorbell wire
wood repair and varnish to mend the floor
baking?
You’re going to be like some sort of fix-it-all superhuman by the time you’ve finished with your projects.
Well, that, or you’ll be broken by failure...
Good luck!
