My time here in Washington state will be over soon. And so will my ownership of the $150 Subaru. These past few weeks have been wonderful, but I can’t afford to bring it home. It will serve to pay for the two classes that I charged on my credit card.
I bought this with the expectation that the engine was a leaky mess and the tranny a lost cause. A leaky cooler line was the problem and it’s been problem free since then. I don’t want another four-cylinder anything after this.
The 135 horsepower makes it more livable than the 88 in my mustang and the Boxer configuration makes it feel more refined and mature. Unlike my 30-year- old mustang. That still doesn’t change my stance, I like torque. I like manuals.
My mustang is getting a V8 as soon as I get all the pieces in one place and maybe one day there will be a H6 Subaru wagon parked next to it.
Time will tell, thanks Subaru for producing this wonderful car.

for some reason subaru knows how to make car people love
even its just boring family wagon
one day i’ll own another one too, but for now i need to finish my v8 project lol

You know what it’s true. This car is probably in the top three favorites of cars I’ve owned. I still want another wagon. I bought the Subaru after failing to buy a Volvo 245. I still want a 245. I will get a 245.
