Yes, that’s right, Fall . By definition the autumnal equinox is the midpoint of Fall which means the actual start point of Fall is...*does some math I can’t do*...oh hey how about that it’s today . Which means in this part of the country it’s possible to have the hottest and coldest temperatures recorded for the year happen in the same season.
Yay.
Meanwhile, today was indeed very Fall-like, if Fall meant Galveston-like humidity. Yay.

It depends on where you live and the dominant cultural traditions. In the U.S., fall begins with the Equinox and ends with the winter solstuce; September 22nd and December 21st, respectively.

The last 3 days have been awesome. On Friday I had to drive for most of my work day, and I didn’t even use my A/C.
I think my favorite temperature range is from 25-75 F. Anything outside of that makes me cranky.
